Matt 25:34-40 NLT
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me… I tell you the truth, when you did it for the least of my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!”

One of life’s most fulfilling feelings is to be truly appreciated for your efforts. I am sure you would agree that it is a blessing in itself when someone is touched deeply by your gift of words or actions.

This is the principle of God’s blessing in action – we are blessed as we bless others.

In Matthew 25 Jesus affirms the truth of this pattern, telling us that we will be rewarded when we stand before Him at His throne. Even more, Jesus tells us that when we bless others by serving them it is as if we are doing it for Him directly.

Let’s be a community of perpetual blessing by serving others as onto Jesus at a whole new level this year!
