Race, Hope & Healing

Newport Church is opposed to racism in all of its forms. The tragic and senseless death of George Floyd has once again highlighted the problem of systemic racism towards African Americans in our nation.

For all lives to matter, Black lives must matter.

Our prayer is that this moment in history will be a tipping point that leads to permanent change in every sphere and level of our society as each one of us does our part to stop racism toward any person regardless of their race, color or ethnicity.

Ps Jonathan, Ps John, and Ps Wayne Francis (Pastor of Life Church NYC) came together for a conversation on race and how we can best respond to bring hope and healing to our Black brothers and sisters, our community, and our nation.
