January 8th - 28th 2024

We are excited to be launching our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting on Monday January 8th and would love to have you join us as we seek God together!

We believe that God will do extraordinary things as we set this time aside to fast, pray and seek Him in His Word.

Jesus said Fasting is "an appetite-denying discipline to better focus on God" Matt 6:14 Message

Whatever fast you choose, we pray that it will be a spiritually renewing and empowering time for you personally and for us as a church corporately.

We have 30 minute Zoom Prayer Meeting from 6.30am to 7am every Tuesday and we would love to have you join us by clicking here. You have the option of course to jump in and out of the prayer meeting and to mute or turn the video off if you are getting ready for work!

Let’s never forget that God says, “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James 5:16

As we seek God together at the start of 2024 we pray that God will crown our year with His goodness!

Our 21 days of prayer and fasting is starting today! This is one of the best ways we can kickstart our new year as we pray that this year will be crowned with God’s favor. We would love you to join us. Let’s believe God for great things in 2024.

When we pray we not only move God’s heart but His might, because God is both able and willing! Let’s pray.

James, the brother of Jesus, who spent so much time on his knees in prayer that he had knees like a camel’s said, “you have not because you ask not, and you have not because you ask that you may spend what you receive on your pleasures.”

When we pray, aligning our prayers with God‘s will and word we can pray with confidence, knowing that we are not trying to overcome God’s reluctance but that we are laying hold of God’s willingness! Lets pray.

It’s Day 8 of our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting and our thought for today is about “Having a Hearing Ear.”
Prayer is not just one way conversation, it’s a two-way conversation where we can not only talk to God but hear from Him.
That means we’re going to need to have a hearing ear, to tune in to the frequency of the Spirit of God and open our ears.
When the prophet Samuel, who anointed David as King, was a young boy, he heard God calling his name in the night, and he answered, “speak Lord for Your servant is listening”
Let’s take time each day to be still, tune in to the Spirit of God, and say, “Speak Lord for Your servant is listening.”
And as we read God’s word each day let’s begin by praying, “Lord open my eyes and my ears that I might hear from you what you want to say to me today!”

Jesus made a way for us to enter the throne room of God, and to ask for His grace, mercy and provision at any time or with any need.
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16 NLT
As we pray let’s approach God with confidence knowing that we can access all of the riches of our inheritance in Christ, not because of what we have done, but because of what He has done for each one of us!

In his account of one of Jesus’ post resurrection appearances to His disciples, John writes, “then Jesus took a deep breath and breathed into them. “Receive the Holy Spirit,” He said.” John 20:22 MSG
When Jesus did this He opened the door to a whole new dimension of communication with God, that had not been possible before.
Jesus was leaving to ascend to the Father, so that the Holy Spirit could now lead and guide all who receive Him, into all truth.
Our prayer life would never be the same again, changed forever by the presence of the Holy Spirit living within us.
So now we can pray in the Spirit, with the leading of the Holy Spirit, and when we do, just as air is the breath of life, so prayer will be the breath of life to our soul!
Let’s pray!

It's Day 15 of our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting, and our thought for today is ASK, BELIEVE & RECEIVE.
Jesus said, "Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing you will receive."
The apostle John said, "This is the confidence which we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of Him."
So we need to ask according to God's will.
How do we know God's will? We know God's will by reading His Word.
How do we believe? We believe by trusting in God. Not trusting in our faith, but in God's Faithfulness.
And then we can receive His promises because it's His good pleasure to answer our prayers.
So let's pray this week, asking, believing, so we can receive!

God invites us to come to him in prayer and to bring every detail of our needs to him.
In those moments when we feel anxious or overwhelmed by what is happening in our lives God promises to fill our hearts with His peace.
God is not only able but willing to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever hope or imagine.
So let’s come to Him with thankfulness and confidence, so that we can experience His peace and supernatural provision. He is waiting and willing!

Jesus told a parable about a persistent widow who kept petitioning a judge, who neither feared God nor cared about people.
The judge finally gave in to her consistent and unrelenting requests and granted her petition.
Luke begins his account of Jesus’ parable with this statement:
“Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.” Luke 1:8
In the conclusion of the parable Jesus compares the response of this judge, who neither fears God nor cares about people, with the response of our God who loves and cares about us.
“Now, will God not judge in favor of His own people, who cry to Him day and night for help? Will He be slow to help them?”
Let’s keep praying like this woman prayed, with persistence and faith, not only during these 21 days, but throughout this year, knowing that God is just, merciful, willing and able to act on our behalf!
