Hi Newport Church Family,
Wishing you a Merry & Blessed Christmas!
We want to wish you all a very blessed Christmas filled with Love, Joy, Peace and Hope.
700 years before the birth of Christ, the prophet Isaiah penned these words about the Advent of Christ.
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end
Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV
We pray that you will know the power and reality of these timeless words in the coming days, as you celebrate Christmas with your family and friends.
We want to thank each one of you for the unique part that you have played in this year of rebuilding as we emerge out of an unprecedented season.
We hope you can join us for our Christmas Eve at Home Online Premier Tomorrow at 6pm. The service will be 35 minutes long and we will be gathering online with our families at home, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus together.
Here is the link to the service, which we would love for you to share with your family and friends https://youtu.be/EvY1Bdggef8
We will not be meeting in person at church this Sunday 26th, as previously announced.
We pray that you will enjoy the time with your family and gather with us the following week, refreshed with open and expectant hearts for all that God has in store for us in 2022.
The Greatest Gift of All
Christmas is a time when we exchange gifts because we remember the Advent of Jesus, the greatest gift of all!
As a church we can only be a gift to our community because of your generosity, and we want to thank you for the gift that you are and the gift of your giving. You are making a difference!
As we approach the last week of the year, our prayer is that we will enter 2022 from a position of strength as a result of our collective generosity.
For those who would still like to contribute to our Thanksgiving Offering or who would like to give your regular donations or tithe, you can do so by clicking here.
May God multiply the seed you sow according to His promise!
Once again we wish you a Merry and Blessed Christmas!
We love and appreciate you all greatly,
