Hi Newport Church Family,

We trust that you are doing well and are in good health and spirit.

God’s Presence and our Presence make all the Difference

What a great Vision Focus Sunday and anointing service we had last weekend!

Whether you joined us in person or online, we pray that you experienced a fresh sense of God’s presence in our worship, the word and anointing prayer.

The word which expresses our focus as a church for 2021 is PRESENCE.

God’s Presence makes all the difference in our lives, our church and our community.
Our Presence makes all the difference in our family, our church and our community.

Last Sunday I spoke about the difference that God’s presence makes, and this week I will be continuing with the second part of the message on the difference our presence makes.

If you missed the first part of the message you can listen to it on our Newport Church Podcast.

We pray that this year all of us will experience an increased measure of God’s presence, in every area of our lives, church and community. And that as we do, our presence will make all the difference, bringing life, hope and faith wherever we go.

Sisterhood – A Morning with Pastor Di

Our first sisterhood morning of the year is taking place today at 10am!

Pastor Di will be sharing our sisterhood vision for 2021, along with a message on how to experience true rest in the midst of the stress and pressures of life.

It’s going to be a great time for all the women, and a great opportunity to invite the people in your world. You can join by clicking on this link

Kingdom Builders Information Night - Tues Feb 16th 7.00-7.30pm on Zoom

Our Kingdom Builders and Vision Partners have faithfully partnered with us over the years, through their generosity, to resource the vision of our church.

They lead the way through their giving so that we can continue to move the vision forward.

We would like to encourage everyone who calls our church home, to consider and pray about partnering with us in one of these groups.

On Tuesday February 16th we will be having a half hour informational zoom call about how we can all be involved, and we would love to have join us along with our Kingdom Builders and Vision Partners for that time together.

Provision for the Vision 2021

Let’s pray and believe God together, that through the giving of our donations, tithes and offerings we will have more than enough provision for the vision, and that God will multiply the seed that each one of us sow.

The one who sows from a generous spirit will reap an abundant harvest. Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 TPT

If you would like to give now, you can do so by clicking on this link.

We Need each Other!

We look forward to having you join us for our service tomorrow, either in person or online at 11am.

We will be continuing with the second part of our Vision focus for 2021 and highlighting how our presence makes all the difference!

I love this scripture penned by the writer of the book of Hebrews, and I believe it’s especially relevant for us today.

This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing, because we need each other! In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning. Hebrews 10:25 TPT

The Greek meaning of the word “neglect” implies a person who is extremely discouraged.

When so many are feeling discouraged, our presence can encourage others during a time when we all need each other more than ever.

Whether you join us in person or are watching online, until you feel comfortable to resume meeting again in person, we pray that you are encouraged and experience God’s presence in ever greater measure.

Let’s never forget how much we need each other!

This is our Prayer for You

That He would unveil within you the unlimited riches of His glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with His divine might and explosive power. Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of His love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!                                                             Ephesians 3:16-19 TPT

We are thankful for each one of you, and love and appreciate you greatly.

With love and blessings,
Jonathan and Dianne Wilson
