Hi Newport Church Family,

We trust that you are doing well and in good health and spirit.

Tomorrow is the final day of our 21 Day RESET and we hope that this has been a great time of renewal and resetting at the beginning of the new year.

Vision Sunday – Join us Tomorrow in Person or Online!

Our 21 days of prayer and fasting concludes tomorrow with Vision Sunday, including a special moment of prayer and anointing for each one of us during the service.

We encourage you to do everything you can to join us, in person or online as we share our Vision, our theme and word for 2021 and for an awesome time of worship.

A special welcome to Jake and Raquel Damron, who have relocated here for a season, and will be co-leading worship this Sunday!

It’s going to be a great day!

Anointing Moment

Our anointing moment will be a little different this year. We will be providing a few drops of oil in a cup for all those who come in person, so that you can anoint yourselves, while we pray for you to know God’s favor and anointing for 2021.

If you are watching online, have some oil ready so that you can join in that moment from your home.

In speaking of anointing David wrote:

You care for all my needs, anointing my head with soothing, fragrant oil, filling my cup again and again with Your grace. Psalm 23:5 VOICE

Faith and Expectation

Let’s come to church this week full of faith and expectation.

Let’s believe that like David, God will care for all of our needs, anoint us with His Spirit and fill our cup to overflowing again and again this year.

I never underestimate the power of expectation.

Faith and expectation go hand in hand and whenever we approach any moment with that combination, significant things happen.

When a blind man came to Jesus asking to be healed, Jesus asked him, “do you believe that I can open your eyes?”

When the blind man answered, “Yes Lord, I do”, Jesus said, “You will have what your faith expects!” Matthew 9:29 TPT and the blind man’s eyes were opened.

God wants to do extraordinary things in each one of our lives, and faith and expectation release His power and provision in extraordinary ways.

First Tuesday

Next Tuesday February 2nd we are resuming our first Tuesdays, which are a time when all of our leaders, volunteers, Life Groups and everyone in our church gather for worship, vision, prayer and teaching of the Word.

We will be unpacking the practical aspects of our vision for 2021, and would love for you to join us either in person or online.

Let’s do all that we can to be there, so that we can work together, despite the challenges we’re facing, to bring much needed hope and faith to our community and world.

Our Vision 2020 Giving

A big thank you to all those who made commitments to and contributed to our Vision 2020 initiatives.

Even though we were not able to do many of the things we had planned to do in 2020, given the way the year turned out, there was still much that we accomplished as a church to fulfil our vision of being a hub of hope and faith for our city and beyond.

From within the four walls of our church, to the homes, communities and cities around us and as far as the streets of Mumbai in India your giving made a significant difference spirit, soul and body, in the lives of so many. Thank you!

Provision for Vision 2021

Every vision needs provision, and as we share the vision we will also be sharing how we can all participate in contributing to making our vision a reality.

For those who made Vision 2020 commitments and contributions, any recurring giving will carry over into 2021, or you can begin to contribute or make changes to your 2021 Vision giving on Pushpay.

All of our giving to our Vision initiatives is over and above our normal donations or tithes, which enable us to build a strong home base and storehouse from which we can serve our community and world.

So thank you to all who have faithfully and consistently given your donations and tithes over this last year.

God is faithful and His promises are sure.

Our giving not only makes a way for others to know God’s love, but it makes a way for God to show us His love, by giving back to us in greater measure.

One person gives freely, yet gains even more;
another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.

A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

Proverbs 11:24-25 NIV

And as Jesus said, “Your measurement of generosity becomes the measurement of your return.” Luke 6:38

Keep Praying at all Times

Let’s keep praying at all times for all people as God encourages us to do.

If you have a specific prayer request or need prayer please email us at more@nepwortchurch.com so that we can include you in our prayers as a church.

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow for Vision Sunday!

We are so thankful for you, we love and appreciate you greatly.

With love and blessings
