Hi Newport Church Family,

We trust that you are doing well and experiencing a fresh measure God’s grace and favor each new day.

21 Day RESET

We hope that you’ve been able to join us for our 21 days of prayer, fasting and RESET.

As Solomon wrote, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”

And there is no time like the beginning of the year to reset our priorities, to refocus and realign ourselves to the pattern of God’s word.

We hope the daily devotionals and videos have been an inspiration and encouragement to you. If they’ve been an encouragement to you, they will no doubt encourage others in your world, so at a time when new year’s resolutions are at the forefront of people’s thinking, let’s make the most of the opportunity to share the devotionals with others.

We hope you received the 21 Day RESET Fridge magnet in the mail which has a QR code link to our devotionals, you can also receive or forward the link by clicking here.

Vision and Anointing Service Sunday January 31st

On the last day of the month we will be concluding our 21 day RESET with our Vision Sunday and Anointing Service.

We’ll be sharing our Newport Church Vision for 2021, and if you are joining us online, make sure to have some oil ready to anoint yourself and your family, as we pray for God’s anointing and supernatural favor for 2021.

First Tuesday, February 2nd

On the first Tuesday of February we will be resuming our first Tuesdays , which are time when all of our leaders, volunteers, Life Groups and everyone in our church gather for worship, vision, prayer and teaching of the Word.

Be sure to mark this in your calendars, because we will be unpacking the practical aspects of our vision for 2021, and would love for you to join us either online or in person.

We are very excited about the opportunities that we have at this time, despite all of the challenges we’re facing, to bring much needed hope and faith to our community and world.

This Sunday January 24th

This Sunday I will be resuming our series, RESET, RENEW, REBUILD from the books of Ezra and Nehemiah, If you missed either of the first two messages you can listen to them on our Newport Church podcast.

Thank you for your Faithful Giving

Thank you for your continued faithful giving. Your donations, tithes and offerings are making a difference!

Not only does your generosity enable us to continue to be a church that is hub of hope and faith, but it helps us to be a storehouse for our community and to extend our reach and presence across the world.

Our Food with Love ministry provides much needed food for close to 1,000 people every week and we are continuing our support of 20 children in India, through Vision Rescue, with daily food, health care education and faith based life and work skills.

Thank you for partnering with us, to help us to excel in generosity, as a church.

As Paul wrote to the Corinthians:

But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

2 Corinthians 8:7 NIV

He goes on to say:

The heart regulates the hands. This isn’t so others can take it easy while you sweat it out. No, you’re shoulder to shoulder with them all the way, your surplus matching their deficit, their surplus matching your deficit. In the end you come out even. As it is written, Nothing left over to the one with the most, Nothing lacking to the one with the least.

2 Corinthians 8:13 MSG

As we all do our part, we can make a difference!

Let’s never forget that God promises to give seed to those who sow, and multiply the seed we sow!

God supplies seed for the person who plants. He supplies bread for food. God will also supply and increase the amount of your seed. He will increase the results of your good works.

2 Corinthians 9:10 NIRV

Praying at all Times

God is not only able, but willing to do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all that we can ever ask or imagine!

Let’s keep praying with us for our nation, our leaders, our new President and that God will turn back the tide of COVID-19.

We are praying and believing that restrictions will lift, so that we can meet as a church in an unencumbered and safe manner SOON!

In the meantime, we look forward to you joining us tomorrow either online or at our Newport Church Café!

We love and appreciate you greatly.

With love and blessings
